Persephone Reading Weekend: Verity's Photo Competition

Hopefully my competition this time should be a little easier than some of my previous ones (though if you missed out on them last time and fancy some fun - do have a go, and I can supply the answers, just no prizes!).

I post here 5 pictures, each representing a different Persephone book. If you can identify which book they correspond to, then please email the titles to verityDOTormeATgmailDOTcom and I will draw a winner from everyone who gets the most correct.

  4. This was hilarious -- the first one had me stumped for a minute but when I figured it out I laughed out loud. I loved the last one too. Oh, I hope I figured them all out correctly!

  6. I've had a go, got nos 3 and 4 straight away, but had to think a bit for the others.

Cleverly thought out and lots of fun.

  9. What a fun contest! I love puzzles and eagerly solved all, but won't be entering because I already have a copy of Mariana. I hope you do this again next time. :)

  12. Hmm, I've only figured out 2 & 3, but I want to know why #1 is making people laugh! I already have a copy of Mariana so I may just wait to see the answers rather than keep trying to figure it out.
